SA Eagle was a major short-term insurance company in South and southern Africa.
To underline its commitment to the region and extend its global footprint, SA Eagle’s major shareholder, Zurich Financial Services Group, decided to rebrand the company under its global banner.
Creating a sense of confidence in the Zurich brand was key. Together with the Zurich team, we developed a 12-month migration plan, embracing an in-depth understanding of Zurich’s business objectives, as well as the Zurich’s positioning, promise, and identity.
We adapted the global Zurich brand principles to the local context and guided the national roll-out of the new corporate identity and branding for Zurich South Africa, from signage to stationery and other brand collateral. We also included a brand book explaining the new branding principles to all staff and the Zurich broker community.
Today, as Zurich, SA Eagle flies higher than ever before. Customers and shareholders benefit from Zurich‘s distinct and superior service – and 2007’s strong financial results demonstrate the confidence in the global Zurich brand and the benefits that will follow.
