Every year before breaking for Christmas, the six agencies that make up DDB Group Sydney come together for an annual awards ceremony. Given the silly season is already well and truly underway by then, you can expect a lot of laughs (and just a few drinks). But while it’s a fun way for everyone to reminisce about the year gone by, it’s also a great opportunity to cap it off in style. And that’s exactly what Interbrand’s ECD Ben Miles did, picking up the coveted Bill Bernbach Award for Creativity.
Named after DDB’s visionary founder, the award goes to the employee who most contributed to the Group’s creative culture and excellence. Ben delivered on this in spades. As Interbrand’s creative guru, Ben propelled the studio’s work to new heights, leading world-class projects for the likes of Fed Square, Foxtel, The Prince Akatoki, and The Royal Institute of Deaf and Blindness, as well as the multiple-award-winning G’ AY MATE campaign for marriage equality.
