As Executive Director, New Business Development for Consumer & Retail Brand Experience, Tom leads Interbrand’s Client Development & Marketing team working closely with Interbrand’s cross-discipline team to deliver value to our clients’ branding initiatives. Tom’s passionate about leveraging consumer insight and design to develop strategies which create unique brand propositions expressed through consumer and retail brand experiences that are relevant and meaningful to consumers.
He enjoys working with clients from all market segments to help bring clarity to the disruption taking place in many industries by leveraging design as a strategic tool to ultimately drive growth. Tom finds it exciting to uncover new insights and see how the power of design engages shoppers, ultimately to strengthen the brand experience to grow the business.
Tom likes to understand what motivates people and leverages his 20+ years of experience in brand strategy, retail, loyalty marketing, innovation and package design. He is a Board Member for the National Retail Federation’s Associate Member Council and has presented at leading industry conferences including Euroshop, GlobalShop, Private Label Manufactures Association and others. He has worked with leading brands in retail, restaurant, hospitality, fitness, entertainment, financial services and CPG market segments. Tom has a degree in Marketing from Xavier University.
