Leading brand consultancy recognized for its people and work in design:retail’s 2018 Portfolio Awards.
Cincinnati, Ohio (September 14, 2017) – design:retail, the industry-leading resource that serves as a trusted voice for retail design recognizes Interbrand’s people and work as part of the 2018 Portfolio Awards. This annual award competition celebrates the outstanding achievement of work that disrupts the retail design industry, and the people behind the scenes that bring it all to life. Uniquely, the Portfolio Awards are based on nominations from design:retail readers, making it an accolade determined by the winners’ industry peers.
Among those recognized, Interbrand’s Ryan Brazelton, Executive Creative Director, has been honored as a Retail Design Influencer. This select group consists of the industry’s leading minds that forge a path forward in retail, inspiring work and creating powerful solutions for clients.
“It is an honor to be recognized as an influencer within the retail design industry” stated Brazelton. “I strive to be an inspiration to my team and my peers. There have been important influencers and mentors that helped me grow throughout my career, and I hope I fill those shoes for others as well.”
Notable projects Brazelton has led recently include Best Buy’s store redesign, Stop & Shop’s relaunch, and Wawa’s urban concept development. Wawa is also honored in the 2018 Portfolio Awards as one of the “Best New Store Designs” for their Washington D.C. urban location which opened earlier this year.
The winners were formerly recognized at The Portfolio Awards Dinner award on September 13, 2018, during retail:design forum, the organization’s annual conference on September.
