Cologne, Germany (May 2, 2018) – Interbrand and St. Gallen Foundation for International Studies agreed on a partnership and Interbrand becomes the official brand consultant to the St. Gallen Symposium. St. Gallen Symposium is an annual conference held since 1970 at the renowned University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, that supports the international dialogue between the leaders of today and tomorrow on important topics of management, politics and civil society.

The agreement provides that as brand partner Interbrand will assist St. Gallen Foundation for International Studies with its brand strategy and brand management for future growth.

“St. Gallen Symposium is an institution in the international conference landscape. We are honored to be invited to support the foundation as its partner in all aspects of branding,” commented Simon Thun, CEO of Interbrand Central and Eastern Europe.

“And, we are happy that Interbrand, one of the leading brand consultancies worldwide will advise us in our brand work. Together we will strengthen and develop the thought leadership of the symposium and the unique dialogue between the best talents and top leaders worldwide,” explained Beat Ulrich, CEO of St. Gallen Foundation for International Studies.

This year’s St. Gallen Symposium takes place today (May 2nd) until Friday, May 4th. Representatives of the business, political and civil sectors, among them Lord Griffiths of Fforestfach (Vice Chairman, Goldman Sachs International), Wolf-Henning Scheider (CEO, ZF Friedrichshafen) and Sigmar Gabriel (former Vice Chancellor and Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany) and 50 other speakers with 1.000 participants from 50 countries will discuss the key elements of the topic ‘Beyond the end of work’. As in all previous years the symposium takes place at the renowned University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and is organized by the International Students’ Committee (ISC), a team of students from the university. The ISC team members change every year. They are selected, trained and advised by the St. Gallen Foundation for International Studies.
