Madrid, 2 March 2020.- Interbrand announces the appointment of Nancy Villanueva to CEO Iberia & Middle East, a promotion from her previous role as Managing Director of Interbrand Madrid.

In her new role, Nancy will continue to report to Gonzalo Brujó, Global Chief Growth Officer. As CEO Iberia & Middle East, Nancy will lead the brand consultancy’s activity and growth in the Iberian Peninsula and in the Middle East.

Since joining Interbrand’s Strategy team in 2005, Nancy has led branding projects for hey clients such as LaLiga, Telefónica/Movistar, Mahou San Miguel, Bankia, DIA, Amadeus, Dufry, etc. Several years ago, she also created, established and consolidated the discipline of Client Service for Interbrand Madrid. Nancy’s most recent accomplishment has been successfully leading Interbrand’s efforts in the Middle East, where she has actively contributed in branding assignments for leading brands such as stc, Dubai Holding, Al-Futtaim and AirArabia, amongst others.
Nancy’s career has always been focused on Marketing, having worked over 10 years in the United States holding a variety of Marketing positions for top-tier multinational companies such as Unilever and GlaxoSmithKline.

Her appointment as CEO of Iberia & Middle East consolidates and reinforces Interbrand’s strategic position in these markets and strengthens the firm’s mission to accompany clients in their ambition to create Iconic Moves that allow them to anticipate consumer expectations, while achieving growth for their brands and their businesses.
