With a solid foundation in the North American market, it was time for Volcom to take its place on the international stage. The company came to us to develop a retail concept based on their brand proposition of “youth against establishment.”
We worked with Volcom to create a revolutionary new experience: a completely ‘skateable’ space, digitally integrated, that cultivated a dynamic relationship with customers. To generate customer loyalty within the store experience, a ‘rebound effect’ delivered immediate shopper satisfaction and streamlined the customer journey. The logo inspired the graphic theme throughout the store: the stone as the foundation and the stripes as the landscape.
Launched at the beginning of 2013, the concept rolled-out internationally and took out the TOP/COM Consumer d’Or award.
Volcom put its rebellious nature to work in a store experience that pleased the skating crowd.
